Our Story

The foundations of Kurmel Holding were laid in the mid-1960s at a mining site located in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. The vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to hard work of our founder, Necati Kurmel, enabled the Group’s initial mining operations to grow steadily in a short period of time.

Over time, the experience and know-how gained paved the way for the diversification of Kurmel Group’s business areas. Investments in mining were structured under Kurmel Madencilik A.Ş., while parallel investments in agriculture and livestock led to the establishment of integrated and sustainable operating models.

Today, Kurmel Holding not only focuses on strengthening its existing operations but also continues to move forward with the objective of creating long-term value through new investments and projects. In this context, strategic steps are taken through Kurmel Uluslararası Proje Yatırımları A.Ş. to evaluate domestic and international investment opportunities.
